Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences: Highlights

Asian Journal of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (AJBPS) is an international multidisciplinary Journal, which publishes Different types of articles;

  • Original research article
  • Short communications
  • Review Articles
  • Opinions & Perspectives
  • Case Reports
  • Book Reviews

Our journals are published in various cycles, from annually to quarterly and reprints are available upon request with an additional cost. Tour journals are indexed by various organizations, and we submit the content of our publications to Google Scholar as well.  We strive to gain the widest possible audience and visibility for our authors’ work.

Current Released Issue:

In our current issue there are total number of article is 5. These articles are submitted by eminent authors and those are related from different countries.  The articles are related to various topics such as

Job satisfaction of doctors working at Upazila Health Complexes in Barisal District: Doctor's profession has long been among one of the most attractive professions in our society, but doctors are increasingly getting dissatisfied with their jobs. Job satisfaction is very important but very less studied issue. The aim of this study to assess the level of job satisfaction among doctors at selected Upazila Health Complexes in Barisal District.

Assessment of prescription patterns and drug use across the Kurdistan region: The aim of this research is to examine the pattern of prescriptions and drug use in the Kurdistan region and to determine whether the drug prescribing was based on rational therapeutic consideration.

Docking study and result conclusion of heterocyclic derivatives having urea and acyl moiety:  Docking is a method which predicts the preferred orientation of one molecule to a second when bound to each other to form a stable complex. Knowledge of the preferred orientation in turn may be used to predict the strength of association or binding affinity between two molecules. In this study a series of synthesized compounds were evaluated for focusing on binding modes, potential interactions and specific binding sites.

Kinetic properties of Rhodanese from African locust bean seeds (Parkia biglobosa): African locust bean (Parkia biglobosa) is a legume which can be processed into condiment. Rhodanese is a sulphurtransferase enzyme. It catalyses the degradation of cyanide to a less toxic metabolite, thiocyanate. Rhodanese purication and biochemical characterization were carried out in this study. The activity of this enzyme from Parkia biglobosa was evaluated and the kinetics of the rhodanese enzyme reaction, including pH and temperature profiles, substrate specificity and effects of metal ions were assessed.

Preventive effects of soy lecithin in combination with flavonoids on stz induced Diabetes Mellitus in rats: The present research work was design to investigate the anti-diabetic effect of Crude Soy lecithin (CSL) in combination with Flavonoids.

We are pleased to inform you that the Asian Journal of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences and is under process of accepting the articles from the experts in this field. Authors can directly submit the article through online link. https://www.scholarscentral.org/editorial-tracking/index.php
